ABOUT PER DIEM - benefits - Advance Pay

MedStaff is pleased to announce advance pay as an option for its healthcare professionals. For those who are not interested, not to worry. Weekly pay will continue to be available. For the healthcare professionals interested in the daily pay option, all you need to do to enjoy this benefit is to submit a daily pay time sheet to your local office after each shift you've completed. The daily pay time sheet must be signed by the facility, and a check will be generated for you at the office immediately.

Since MedStaff will continue its practice of processing payroll once a week, the checks you receive from your local office will be calculated at 65% of your gross wages for the day as an estimate. This payment is not taxed and is considered an advance. Each week all hours worked will run through the payroll program, as will your specific withholdings to account for any residual wages owed. If wages are owed, you will receive a check from the corporate office each Friday to reconcile what is owed you.

This is an outstanding benefit that allows our healthcare professionals to work a shift, stop by the office for their check, then cash that check at a local bank for immediate cash.
