Sure can. In fact, many times we encourage our healthcare professionals

not. Your application is simply used to qualify you for work so that

What are the minimum requirements to work for MedStaff?
To become
a MedStaff Local nurse, you need to provide a valid professional
practice license or certification and proof
of the right to work in the United States. We require at least one year of professional
nursing experience before we can hire you.

What shifts are available?
Our shifts vary depending on what facility
you choose to work with. We work with our facilities to ensure that
you are not floating needlessly. The majority of our shifts are usually
8, 10, or 12 hours and involve both am and pm work assignments.

How much will I be earning?
MedStaff always is on the higher end
of compensating its employees. Pay rate is dependent on geographic
location, specific clients as well as the healthcare professional
skill level. Feel free to call your local
office for rates for your
specialty area and shift preference.

What do I get if I refer a colleague to MedStaff?
You can earn
anywhere from $100.00 to $400.00 depending on the nurse (skill set
CNA, LPN, RN) you refer. Click here

When and how will I be paid?
MedStaff offers weekly pay (direct
deposited at your bank of choice) or an advance
pay option for those
who have an interest in instant pay.

How are my taxes handled?
When you work for MedStaff, we will withhold
all applicable federal, state and local taxes; you are not treated
as an independent contractor. At the end of the year, you will receive
a W-2 from MedStaff in the mail.

What kinds of insurance do you offer?
We offer you many forms of
insurance. MedStaff offers a HI-LO plan, from Health, Dental,
Life, and Vision Insurance to Workman's Comp, we make sure that we
cover you from all angles. MedStaff offers its full time benefits
at no cost. MedStaff's HI plan is available for an addition cost
to our Healthcare Professionals. Feel free to peruse the "Benefit" tab

When am I eligible to receive my benefits?
How does one month sound?
That's right, with MedStaff, you are eligible for Health, Dental,
and Life Insurance as soon as you complete just one month of continuous
employment (120 hours in one month).

Can I add my spouse and/or children to my insurance?
Sure! You
can add your spouse, your children, or dependents to your insurance
for an additional monthly premium. All you need to do in order to
add your family to your insurance is complete the enrollment paperwork
and pay the monthly premium.

Do you have a retirement plan?
MedStaff offers a 401(K) program,
to all eligible Healthcare Professionals. The plan provides a range
of John Hancock funds to choose from. Eligibility for the 401(k)
plan is based on completion of 260 hours of service during a consecutive
90 day period of employment with Medstaff, Inc. and you must be 18
years of age. To maintain eligibility you must work 500 hours per
calendar year. Medstaff will match you contribution at a rate of
$0.25 on the dollar up to the first 5% of pay you save. The match
is effective after 1 year of employment. You can contribute up to
100% of your compensation in 1%. You are fully vested after 6 years.
