Tripler Army Medical Center

Why are the assignments 6 month long?
There are two reasons the assignments are at least 6 months long. Tripler requires extra training and orienting, hence forth, orientation is 2 weeks long. It is more time efficient if the contracts are six months long. Also, the distance from the main land to Hawaii is so great, that six month assignments are more suitable.
