Licensure Information
Applying for a Maryland licensure, which takes 4-6 weeks, by:
- Examination
- Endorsement
- Re-Activation (if expired)
Maryland is part Nurse Licensure Compact and offers Refresher Programs (PDF). The Maryland Board requires applicants for Temporary Licenses to use a Permanent Mailing Address when completing the application for licensure. This is especially important for licensees who are not going to reside in Maryland for an extended period of time.
